Must Have Skills:
- Most important - Project is on an Android device and is embedded but embedded portions are not super critical
- Strong C and Java coding
- Strong understanding of Linux in a run time environment (Shell scripting, threads, networking, C are all core bits of this job)
- At least 4 years' experience
- Development:
- Native C and Java, have to understand developing from Linux, running on android system but not really doing an android app
- Zigbee a bonus, not a must have
- Networking Knowledge:
- Have to understand socket programming, standard networking knowledge at C and Java layer, TCP/UDP, SSDP, etc.
- Don't want to focus on someone whose core is in real time embedded OS. Writing drivers, too bare metal, don't send. They tend to be too junior. Don't focus on real-time embedded.
