Position Summary:
Command Cyber Solutions (a government contractor) is seeking a qualified Software Developer PLM SME in support of client located at Hill AFB, Utah.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead and participate in the design, development, and maintenance of PLM software solutions, ensuring they align with the client's requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their PLM needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide technical support to clients, addressing issues, debugging, and resolving system failures in a timely manner.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other developers, project managers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality PLM solutions within established timelines.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to identify and rectify software bugs and issues.
• Design and manage databases for storing and retrieving product data, ensuring data accuracy, security, and integrity; optimize database performance.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges with PLM software and provide timely and effective solutions.
• Continuously seek ways to improve and optimize PLM software and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Communicate progress and updates to team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of PLM software to ensure its functionality and usability.
Education, Certification & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Ten (10) or more years of experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:
• Siemens Xcelerator Academy Teamcenter
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability to design effective solutions.
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages (ex: Python, R, JavaScript, C#, Java, etc.).
• Experienced with code development and deployment through dev, QA, and production environments.
• Effective team-based communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency creating and using unit tests.
Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands
• Basic office work environment at government facility location
• Hours of operation are M-F between 0600-1800.
• Occasionally, project requirements may require temporary adjustment of work hours/days
• Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer
