Vaco Boston has partnered with our client seeking a Software Engineer to add to their team.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
Essential Qualifications:
- Over 7 years of experience in software development.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar field. Equivalent experience of 3+ years may be considered instead.
- Proficient in server-side development using modern .NET technologies such as .NET Core and C#, with experience in REST/GraphQL APIs, SQL Server, and unit testing.
- Strong knowledge in front-end frameworks and tools including Angular, HTML5, SCSS/CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript, with familiarity in testing tools like Jasmine or Jest, and state management using NgRx.
- Hands-on experience utilizing cloud-based solutions such as Azure PAAS and SAAS offerings like Azure Service Bus, Key Vault, Data Factory, Pipelines, Storage, and monitoring tools like AppInsight.
Desirable Skills:
- Over 5 years of work experience with Microsoft Technology stack.
- Proficiency with code quality tools (e.g., ESLint, Prettier, SonarQube) and working knowledge of micro-frontend architecture and server-side rendering for Angular.
- Experience with distributed systems and services, such as parallel programming, Cosmos DB, Redis caching, ASP.NET, and message brokers like RabbitMQ.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools, event-driven systems, and API gateways.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control and Azure DevOps workflows.
- Knowledge of authentication protocols including OAuth, OIDC, and SAML.
- Skilled in creating and maintaining a reusable component library.
- Proven track record of enhancing and refining existing codebases with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities with strong communication skills to liaise with technical and business stakeholders effectively.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
