Software Engineer - Leidos

Description

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer to join our National Security Sector (NSS) software organization. The individual will work with the NSS Software Center team on a series of projects to stand-up and support operations for the Center.  The successful candidate will perform hands-on activities and provide technical assistance to the Software Center Chief Architect including the design, development, test, and deployment of software solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM related major (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.)

• Experience with or understanding of software development technologies to include one or more development/scripting languages (e.g. Java, C++, Python); DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git)

• Understanding of Cloud technologies

• Understanding of database technologies

• US Citizenship Required

• Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance

Primary Responsibilities 

• Take direction from the Chief Architect and NSS SW Center Lead for technical tasks

• Design, Develop, Test, and Deploy software systems

• Implement technical solutions that support the functions of the NSS SW Center
