Job Title: Software Engineer I
Location: Stafford, VA
Job Summary/Purpose: The Gemini 3 Group (G3G) is seeking a full-time Software Engineer I to support a valued Department of Defense (DoD) customer. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Responsibilities/Functions:
• Assist in conducting and/or participating in multidisciplinary research.
• Collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems software.
• Determine computer user needs.
• Advise hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements.
• Design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs and operating systems.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Familiar with software development and diagnostic tools.
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized, able to manage priorities to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Required Education, Licenses and Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in electronics or computer engineering or related field. Military experience acceptable in lieu of education.
• 0 - 3 years’ experience in software engineering.
