About the Job
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Revenue Management Software Engineering team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives. The Software we build and maintain supports the CORPORATE & INVESTMENT BANK's Securities Services Pricing and Billing Operations teams. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with stakeholders to stay focused on our common goals. You'll work in a collaborative, trusting environment that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally.
Job Responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
- Ability to work in large, collaborative and geographically distributed teams to achieve organizational goals.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering* concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Strong technical knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft .NET/.NET Core framework and C# coding.
- Hands on practical experience of working with InvestCloud's Advantage Fee Billing software.
- Experience in working with Advantage Fee API's.
- Prior experience building interfaces and custom applications to augment and interact with Advantage Fee.
- Hands on experience in developing and supporting Billing and Invoicing software in a .Net environment.
- Prior experience building and maintaining custom schedulers in Java and .Net.

- Exposure to AWS and Terraform
