Required Skills:

Software Engineer, Infrastructure Responsibilities:

1. Design core, backend software components

2. Code using primarily C/C++, Java, PHP and Hack

3. Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa

4. Conduct design and code reviews

5. Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources

6. Set direction and goals for the team regarding project impact, product quality and engineering efficiency

7. Lead major initiatives, projects, teams, roll-outs and phased-releases

8. Helps onboard new team members, provides mentorship and enables successful ramp up on your team's code bases

Minimum Qualifications:

9. 8+years of programming experience in a relevant programming language

10. 6+ years relevant experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience

11. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Javascript or Hack

12. Experience leading major initiatives successfully

13. Experience leading projects and teams accordingly

14. Experience building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability

15. Experience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes

16. Experienced in utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and providing detailed feedback and solutions

17. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

$85.10/hour to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
