Job Description A research group in Redmond WA has the goal to explore, concept, and design novel interfaces and hardware for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. The team is evaluating novel interaction techniques and user interfaces to improve human experiences in the augmented world. Insight Global is hiring for a Research Engineer to be able to work at the intersection between human-computer interactions and artificial intelligence. Job Responsibilities: Build and maintain software to support research projects that advance the team's research roadmap Design, build, and test a wide range of software systems (i.e. building research systems, backend development, data analysis, interfacing with machine learning and deep learning models, computer vision, signal processing) Collaborate with other researchers and engineers in the various phases of the research project (i.e. ideation, experimental design, data analysis and result sharing) We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related fields. 3+ years of professional experience with Python 1-2+ years of experience building in Unity and C# (ideally for AR/VR) Experience working with Computer Vision or other ML models (LLMs, object detection, running model inference, running models and integrating them into systems or prototypes, interpreting outputs, etc.) Experience with React Experience working with sensors, wearable devices, input device signals/data Familiarity with AR/VR technologies. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
