Job Details
Position Summary: The Senior Automation Engineer designs, programs, and tests control systems, with responsibilities in a variety of industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Food & Beverage, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Define scope and develop proposals
Design and integrate control systems (DCS/PLC/HMI/SCADA)
Lead projects through commissioning and startup
Manage teams to meet budget and timeline goals
Provide field support and troubleshooting
Collaborate with vendors, engineers, and clients
Review technical drawings and P&IDs
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Engineering (PE or Master’s preferred)
5+ years of leadership in automation/control projects
Knowledge of multiple control system platforms
Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and leadership skills
Willing to travel (up to 40%)
