Job Title:          Software Engineer
Job Location:   Norfolk, VA
Job Salary:      $75K-$145K (The salary range provided is a general guideline. Nexagen Networks considers various factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.)
 

Job Description:  Analyzes and studies complex system requirements by utilizing research, discovery and development fundamentals. Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reutilization, domain analysis, and implementation management. Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, CASE tools, or other accepted design techniques. Estimates software development schedules, reviews existing programs through RDT&E, and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current Techniques.

Experience: A minimum of eight (8 years) experience, of which at least three (3) years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes: IT systems analysis and programming. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction.
