Responsibility
We are seeking a Software Engineer - Onboard Infrastructure to join our team. You will collaborate with distinguished engineers to solve one of the most challenging problems in artificial intelligence: a fully autonomous driving platform. You will participate in various software development cycles to discover the real problems in autonomous driving, design robust and scalable solutions, and implement your ideas into production. You will be building the infrastructure of the vehicle “brain”, as well as forging our offline infrastructures to facilitate our end-to-end development cycle.
- Develop a high-performance, high-stability, and easily expandable vehicle operating system, supporting different types of vehicle modules.
- Develop a simulation and replay system for in-vehicle systems.
- Develop and use performance analysis and monitoring tools to analyze and optimize system computing resource allocation and overall performance.
- Improve the development tools and debugging tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, computer science or related major.
- Have at least one common programming language experience, such as C++, Java, Python
- Deep understanding of operating systems and computer architecture.
- Have high-performance software system, scientific simulation engine or game engine development experience.
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $200,000 Annually
Compensation may vary outside this range depending on many factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation and this role may be eligible for bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
