Software Engineer - DCS Corp

DCS is looking for an experienced Computer Engineer to join an Agile team of fellow computer engineers and customer stakeholders to solve problems and develop innovative solutions in support of the National Security mission.

Essential Job Functions:

Interface directly with project managers, Government stakeholders, vendors, and developmental organizations to identify software system requirements, providing designs and implementations and manage backlog tasks. Provide inputs to plans of execution to include scope, needs, and schedule.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related and at least 8 years of experience.
Active or ability to obtain Secret security clearance.

Apply scientific or engineering models to utilize third and fourth generation languages (such as Java, Javascript, Python, Perl, C++, etc.).

Experience building, deploying, and managing containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or other related technologies.
Research, identify, and adapt cutting-edge software technologies to develop solutions maintaining a cyber-secure environment.
Develop software test description prior to test, conduct testing and develop software test reports after software tests are complete.
Support Technical and Operational Testing in the laboratory or field as required.

Desired Skills:

Development languages include but are not limited to Java, Javascript, Python, Ruby, and C#.
Experience with software development in an Agile environment.
Understanding of Risk Management Framework principles.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be ready to adapt to quickly changing requirements during the development process.
Successful candidates will be highly motivated and team-oriented.
