DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or break down technical problems. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Drive evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes- oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. Drive communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
