About the Job
This requirement is for the System Test Engineering group. As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for building NetApp’s cutting-edge software defined storage solutions for major Cloud providers including AWS, Azure and GCP. You will participate in aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirements, design, implementation, test and delivery of our software solution. The System Test team has to take into account all aspects of our ONTAP software portfolio while incorporating the latest and greatest new features into our solution.
Jb Requirements
• Experience in object-oriented programming using Python, Go or Perl
• Experience and knowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Ability to design and automate Systemic tests (customer workflow, disruption, stress and scale, etc) that operate in multi-hypervisor and containerized environments.
• Interact, collaborate and succeed in a highly productive Agile development environment
• Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests to replicate real-world scenarios.
• Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated and very flexible
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
Preferred Requirements
• Working knowledge in microservices/containerization via Docker, Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience working in AWS, GCP or Azure
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment
• Experience developing test frameworks, libraries and tools is a plus
• Sound knowledge in storage/file system domain
• Basic knowledge of Networking Protocols – TCP/IP, UDP, VLAN etc

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $130,200 - $170,000 and will be determined by the candidates location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
