About the Job
Provide technical and engineering work for R&D department as directed by the Sr. Manager, Software Engineering. This internship position is responsible for designing and implementing FIGMA files and assist in implementing them in graphical user interface of the host application hosted on the computer. The internship position will be responsible for assisting in software development, implementation, and documentation, per current SOPs for a medical device.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing the design ideas derived from requirement documents and stakeholder discussions in the FIGMA file.
- Assist in design and Development of GUI of system software host application.
- Assist in creating Windows user interface program.
- Assist in providing design input for GUI of system software.
- Assist in providing documentation for ongoing development.
- Assist in software testing against the software requirements.
- Assist in performing system performance profiling and benchmark.
- Responsible for executing software upload work instruction to update the software on the medical device.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in developing and implementing FIGMA files.
- Experience in writing C/C++, C# (.NET) code for software application.
- Familiar with Visual Studio, SQL database.
- Strong communication skills.
- Enthusiastic in learning new skills and helping the team.
Preferred:
- Experience designing and running unit tests.
- Experience with implementing FIGMA wire frames into the Host Application software.
- Experience with QT for GUI development.
Education
Required:
- Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program (Engineering in Computer Science, Physics, Math, Electrical Engineering)
Preferred:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program (Engineering in Computer Science, Physics, Math, Electrical Engineering)
