Must Have Program Languages: ruby, python, perl, go.
- 5 years software development real-world experience, minimum
- Proficiency with current versions of ruby, python, git, go, perl, and bash
- Familiarity with ELK, OP5, puppet , ajax, css, javascript and wiki creation (Atlassian Confluence 5.9.5), web GUI, CSS, PHP, Msql
- Knowledge of QAM/IP video streaming
- Test/Integration (Test Plans, Integration Support)
- Working knowledge of *nix, RH/CentOS version 7 specifically
- Familiarity Apache (Traffic Server/Traffic_ops/Traffic_router)
- Self Starter and self-taught
- Able to pull 'How this works' out of Developers. (Not afraid of interaction)
- High Quality Expectation (you'll be the sanity check against all the developers)
- Proficiency in the Agile/Scrum development life cycle
- Proven technical problem solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with other groups within the organization
- Familiarity with Cable TV, and IP Video, CDN and Storage technologies
- Strong computer science/software engineering background
