Summary:
As a Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of ArtCastle, an asset platform that facilitates version control, review, and release of 3D assets. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the ArtCastle engineering team through the handling of user requests, feature development, technical documentation, and automation of tasks that facilitate critical projects and long-term objectives.

Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the ArtCastle engineering team through the handling of user requests, feature development, technical documentation, and automation of tasks that facilitate critical projects and long-term objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Triage and resolve issues raised by art production vendors.
- Carry out feature design and development of the vendor portal.
- Facilitate daily scripts jobs that are crucial for safeguarding asset integrity.
- Provide support for user feedback groups, addressing user queries related to asset or release operations.
- Assist in triaging and redirecting asset, technology and process questions to the appropriate teams.
- Coordinate the release content schedule across various asset production teams
- Assist in release content management to ensure all intended content and hotfixes are included for a release.
Skills:
- 8+ years of development experience with PHP, C++, Python.
- Familiarity with company infrastructure is a huge plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors from art disciplines.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Shotgrid, Maya, Blender, or has worked on Technical Art Pipelines will be a plus.
