Software Engineer in Test WLK

Client is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Client. We are currently sourcing for a Software Engineer in Test to work in Fidelity's Work place investing Group in Westlake, TX.
The Role:
The new associate will be working with a team of technologists passionate about Quality Assurance and Engineering. As a technical associate of this team, you will partner with development and business partners in test and process automation. You will be crafting our technology vision and will have a real impact on our development success!
Westlake Texas, onsite 2 weeks per month
Must Have Skills:
- Playwright / Cypress JavaScript, Typescript.
- Solid automation skills, setting up frameworks from scratch.
- Rest Assured. - SQL for Database testing.
- Good understanding of web services testing and familiarity with RestAssured is preferred.
- Good understanding of Jenkins as CI Tool and configuration

- Design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests and contribute to automation framework.
- Adhere to established software engineering best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with other technical resources to:
- Suggest improvements for processes, best practices, and standards.
- Design and develop automated tests and/or software tools.
- Understand requirements.
- Find opportunities to improve maintainability of automation platform.
- Understand and apply test driven design concepts to test and debug automated solutions and software utilities developed by self and others.
- Deliver accurate and maintainable code for test automation and software utilities.
- Build CI/ CD pipelines.
- Responsible for Customer Management including communicating to senior leaders in the domain area.
- BS / BA or equivalent education or experience
- 6+ years of software product experience working on commercially available software.
- 4+ years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
- Proven experience in Agile / Scrum methodology
- Strong hands-on experience with crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Selenium (TestNG), PlayWright or Cypress.
- Solid understanding a programming language such as Java or Javascript or Typescript.
- Good understanding of web services testing and familiarity with RestAssured is preferred.
- Good understanding of Jenkins as CI Tool and configuration
- Experience with SQL databases
- Highly collaborative individual with ability to influence others and build strong partner relationships internally, as well as externally.
- Hands-on experience driving innovation process from end-to-end.
