Role Summary:Internship Term:
Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and December 2027.

The person in this role will work internally and cross functionally to analyze safety of the intended functionality of the ADAS features. This can include but is notlimited to deriving test cases, analyzing results from on road events, closed coarse testing or simulation.
Responsibilities:- Review documentation including architectural diagrams and requirements to get a thorough understand of a feature functionality
- Analyze one or more functionalities from a particular ADAS feature to define hazardous scenarios
- Derive test cases based on the hazardous scenarios to understand how the feature would perform and work cross functionally to execute them as appropriate (physical testing and/or simulation)
- Analyze the result of the tests to validate if performance criteria is metCollaborate with feature owners and developers to define and review requirements to improve the performance if required
Qualifications:Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science or similar Engineering degree
- Basic understanding of systems engineering, required.
- Knowledge of data analysis and related methodolgies, required.
- Strong aptitude in programing skills using Python and SQL, required.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills required.
- Basic understanding of autonomy stack is a plus.

Pay Disclosure:Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law.
Rivian provides robust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
