As a Software Engineering Manager Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
This role will be responsible for supporting multiple Digital Support teams. Ideal candidates will have a background in mobile apps and micro app development along with strong management experience.

Job Description
+ Manage a group of software engineers/managers across multiple product lines.
+ Oversee the talent management of engineering talent, including recruiting, mentoring, and enabling a culture of learning with a focus on engineering craftsmanship.
+ Foster technological innovation, ensuring adoption of current trends, capabilities, and practices emerging in the market. Encourage sound technology choices are made and drive innovative technology architecture and solution design.
+ Identify issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
