About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Engineering and Software Manager to lead our development team. In this role, you will oversee engineering projects, manage software development processes, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and software developers.
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including coding standards and testing protocols.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
- Develop/revise and implement operational procedures to include Safety aspects, enhance productivity, and ensure compliance with WBS policies.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and inventory to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Prepare and present regular reports on performance, project status, and operational metrics for management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ Years of proven experience in leadership and software development and engineering management.
- Cabinetry Experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
- Well-versed in 20/20 insight and construct; ERP/MRP knowledge.
