Software Quality Assurance Specialist - ASRC Federal Holding Company

ASRC Federal Mission Solutions is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist to support the continued development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ.

The candidate should possess:

* Expertise in reviewing Unix and Legacy programs and systems for multiple run-time environments.

* Ability to plan and implement methods for process improvement and trouble-shooting technical issues.

* Ability to create and evaluate corrective action reports

* Ability to interface with internal/external customers to resolve quality issues.

* Ability to participate and lead in Process Evaluations.

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience

* US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance

* 2-4 years’ related experience

* Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, VAX, and Windows

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word

* Working knowledge of ClearCase/ClearQuest or equivalent Source Code Management System a plus

* Working knowledge of Starsys or similar Status Accounting and Tracking System

* Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, good problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Ability to communicate clearly and maintain good working relationship with peers and Customers of all technical levels.

* Specific experience supporting Naval Weapon Systems a plus.
