Day-to-Day Duties May Include:
- Designing and developing test plans/protocols for functional software verification of hub applications, high level networking, and windows platforms.
- Building detailed test plans and releasing project plans.
- Writing detailed low-level test cases and test executions.
- Performing test executions and providing detailed results.
- Providing in-depth feedback to development on requirement/specification clarity and understanding to support proper testing method development.
- Acting as a core team member of the software quality team during product definition and design phases enforcing design aspects for test tools and automation needs.
- Assuring proper root cause analysis and driving timely issue resolution of product issues.
- Executing and supporting for product verification and validation.
- Identifying areas for product and process improvements and making recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 5+ yearsÂ’ experience with leading SQA programs and strategies.
- Good understanding of SDLC and best practices of QA and software development.
- Understanding of design control and design validation.
- Strong understanding of networking applications (network disturbance tools, port scanning, network robustness, packet captures, etc.)
- High-level understanding of automation development & scripting (Python, batch, shell, Jenkins, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux operating systems and virtualization.
- Experience with JIRA, test management software/applications, Postman, network disturbance tools, and Selenium (automation tools).
- Technical experience and strong command of industry trends and ability to apply those for desired outcomes.
- Experience with medical design control processes is a plus.
- Some travel may be required.
