As a Software Services Manager Senior within the Technology team, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Birmingham, AL.

The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

o The candidate has to know technology (past experience as developer), Microservices, API, and being involved on Transformation programs

o Being able to solution Business Problems and to have tech discussions with Solution Architects

o Provide high level estimates/plan for new initiatives

o Managing timelines, Cost, resources on big initiatives

o Provide project status, escalate Risks/issues to Manager, Tech Partners and LOB Partners

Job Description

• Manages multiple development projects, development groups and/or application support functions for a major business segment.
• Oversees the development and implementation of multiple, complex, organization-wide systems .
• Allocates and ensures resource arrangements during the application development life cycle .
• Maintains relationships with clients to ensure the implementation quality of application systems .
• Provides solutions or recommendations on complicated technology issues for application development and implementation .

Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
