Experience/Background:
- Ideal candidate would have secretarial or paralegal experience in an office setting
- Must have advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook with the ability to create templates, utilize styles, and assist with troubleshooting documents
- Knowledge of Access a plus
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of iManage, eDiscovery software, and Word Perfect is a plus
- Must possess reliable transportation and have clean driving record
- Must be able to regularly work onsite in Baton Rouge M-F, 8:30 – 5:00 and overtime as needed
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for new hire, individual, and group software training of personnel in use of all Firm’s systems and software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, iManage, PowerPDF, and others)
- Assist with end user setup, Desktop Support, and serve as Software Trainer to the Firm
- Enthusiastic about working collaboratively; excellent communication and presentation skills, pleasant demeanor and strong customer service skills
- Assist with end user setup, Desktop Support, and serve as Software Trainer to the Firm
- Responsible for MSOFFICE template creation
- Identify and respond to the Firm’s training needs and initiate training accordingly
- Develop and maintain training curricula and associated materials
- Coordinate scheduling of training sessions, maintain training records, and prepare computer tips
- Assist with difficult or problematic documents and application files
- All other duties deemed necessary by Firm Management
- Provides supplemental Help Desk/IT computer support and on-call assistance when needed
- May be required to move/setup computers and monitors (up to 20lbs)
- Periodic travel to New Orleans and Monroe office required
- Reports to Director of Information Technology
