Supervisor: Director of Information Technology
Summary: Responsible for performing assessments of software products in accordance with software test plans and procedures to ensure a high level of software quality and consistency. Troubleshooting and characterizing defects, providing detailed configuration and descriptions for passing and failing tests for product evaluation reports. Responsible for maintaining documentation of test operations and reporting results to engineering. Work closely with members of the Project, Development, and Production Support teams to meet agreed-upon deliverables.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Executes software validation protocols.
- Assists product developers in the replication of product failures.
- Verifies fixes are applied by executing targeted tests.
- Effectively communicates with peers and project team through email and face-to-face interactions.
- Develops and maintains effective working relations with colleagues in a business area, proactively answering queries on testing and following up on actions with stakeholders.
- Performs and documents software test evaluations in compliance with test plan procedures.
- Efficiently manages own time to complete work and associated paperwork by assigned completion dates.
- Reviews data for compliance with specifications and report abnormalities.
- Confirms completion of the required training plan before assuming job responsibilities.
- Takes responsibility for self-development, actively seeking feedback and responding accordingly.
- Ensures compliance with company policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Six months of working experience in software testing and automated testing applications
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to execute multiple priorities, while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong logical thinking, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Skilled at promoting team cooperation and a commitment to team success.
- Working knowledge of SCRUM and Agile practices.
- Experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Physical Requirements
- Requires normal visual acuity and field of vision, hearing, and speaking.
- Ability to move and lift objects 35 pounds or more.
