About the Job
SolidWorks Designer/Drafter
We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Designer/Drafter to create and revise technical drawings and 3D models in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks.
- Apply ISO, ANSI, and ASME standards.
- Support the Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
- Maintain organized design files and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop design solutions and provide cross-departmental support.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical design or drafting.
- Proficient in SolidWorks (CSWA certification preferred).
- Experience with small and large assemblies.
- Strong understanding of ECO processes and engineering principles.
- Proficient in MS Office 365.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with GD&T and SolidWorks Routing.
- Proficiency in technical writing.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate drafting software, sit for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
