Job Description :
Caleb will function as a solution Architect for Clickstream Systems and will be responsible for designing and managing the architecture necessary to collect, store, and analyze clickstream data generated by users' interactions with websites or applications. Their primary duties include:
1. System Design: Architecting scalable and efficient systems specifically for capturing and processing clickstream and website log data.
2. Data Modeling: Developing and maintaining data models tailored for clickstream data to ensure accurate and meaningful data representation.
3. Data Integration: Ensuring seamless integration and enhancements of clickstream data from various sources into centralized data repositories such as data warehouses or data lakes.
4. ETL Processes: Designing and implementing robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to handle the large volumes and high velocity of clickstream data.
6. Analytics and Reporting: Collaborating with data analysts and business stakeholders to design systems that provide actionable insights and reports based on clickstream data.
7. Tool Selection and Implementation: Evaluating and implementing tools and technologies specifically suited for clickstream and edge data collection, storage, and analysis.
8. Data Governance: Establishing data governance policies to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
9. Performance Tuning: Continuously monitoring and optimizing the performance of clickstream data systems to handle high-volume and high-velocity data streams.
