Position Overview:
Serves as a client-facing solution advisor throughout the sales cycle helping guide the client through their technical evaluation and decision process of selecting a Raptor software solution.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand technical needs and systems requirements.
- Provides expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs.
- Ensures that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications.
- Proposes improved solutions to customers and explains benefits of changes while being involved in cross-sell opportunities.
- Be the Pre-Sales technical expert on how Raptor solutions will work and be integrated into a client's environment.
- Be involved in technical discussions around integration requests for other systems (Student Information System Integration, Access Control, Mass Notification Systems, 911 Connectivity/Interoperability, etc).
- Drive sales bookings growth through technical expertise while being responsible for the technical agreement with K-12 clients and validating their technical configurations.
- Technical support for meetings involving CTO, IT, Network Specialists, etc. as well as being the go-to resource for technical questions.
- Lead Client Discussions of Active Directory set-up policies and recommendations.
- Lead client discussions of load or performance testing.
- Provide Quality Assurance Review of all technical components included in complex customer solution configurations.
- Set post sales expectations of client requirements with internal departments such as professional services, and customer success teams.
- Travel as needed to visit clients on site for large and complex opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with K-12 technical leaders such as the CTO/CIO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology field related to products and services being sold preferred.
- Ability to travel at least 50%.
- Two to four years of technical sales related experience required.
- Excellent technical solution demonstration and verbal communications skills.
- Proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
