About the Job
The SAP Solution Manager application administrator is currently under the Project Management division.
This position is responsible for the administration and implementation of Solution Manager functionality to integrate content and tools required to support, operate, and monitor enterprise-wide SAP Projects in a multi-component environment (e.g., SAP ECC, Business Intelligence, and Enterprise Portal), including end-to-end functionality for solution design tracking and ongoing continuous improvement.
The contractor supporting this work shall support Solution Manager software upgrade activities.
100 BIO users currently utilize SAP Solution Manager. Reports created include EarlyWatch Alerts (EWA), custom reports for release/change management, and solution documentation reports.
Currently, 5-10 tickets are supported per month to apply fixes, connectivity, SAP ChaRM, and/or monitoring issues.
Requirements:
Manage the implementation and continued support of all functional aspects of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
Implement and maintain Solution Documentation to include the Business Process Repository, Solution Manager projects, and solution documentation
Implement and provide support for the ChaRM component of SolMan
Implement and provide support for the Test Workbench
Implement and provide support for Business Process Analytics (BPA) and Business Process Monitoring (BPM)
Design, implement, and support an SAP monitoring architecture, including system monitoring; Solution Manager Diagnostics, business process monitoring; and BI reporting
Support multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party software, including PRISM
Create Solution Manager documentation and training materials
Deliver Solution Manager training
Automate administrative and operational functions in Solution Manager to aid in day-to-day system support activities
Experience in: Significant work as the primary administrator of a large Solution Manager environment across multiple environments.
Direct experience supporting all modules of Solution Manager.
Expertise in: Solution Manager and related products - ChaRM, Test Workbench, Business Process Analytics (BPA), and Business Process Monitoring (BPM).
Minimum Years Experience: 5 years
Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree.
Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related fields.
