- Team Structure: You will be part of the Solutions Architecture team within Engineering, focusing on delivering innovative solutions for our external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to identify and address challenges in deploying containerized workloads, particularly for complex jobs (HPC, GPU, ML, AI, etc.).
- Design and deploy robust infrastructure solutions that meet client needs.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance processes and efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation and repeatable processes.
Critical Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (design, deployment, management) across platforms like EKS, AKE, and GKE.
- Proficiency in cloud-native, multi-cloud, or hybrid architectures, particularly AWS.
- Experience designing and implementing customer-facing cloud infrastructure components.
- Strong background in Linux-based systems and products.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, and Bash.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Helm.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes Operators (e.g., ECK, Prometheus, Istio, Aerospike).
- Experience in HPC engineering and orchestration, including deploying and troubleshooting schedulers in the cloud (e.g., Slurm, LFS).
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (e.g., Kubeflow).
- Understanding of FinOps best practices for cost management and cloud optimizations.
- Experience with Azure platform operations and support.
- Active involvement in Kubernetes and/or Cloud Native open-source communities.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
