Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to join our team in Bentonville, AR. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Python, and scripting languages and be well-versed in cloud technologies. A solid background in retail operations and item management is highly preferred.

About the Role

As a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, you will define and implement solution architectures that add business value, manage complexity, and streamline IT operations. In this role, you will apply expertise in Technology Strategy, Solution, and Enterprise Architecture to create tailored technology solutions for our clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Leadership: Drive Flexton’s advisory role with business and technology leaders to align IT strategies with business goals and accelerate IT harmonization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product heads, domain architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT strategies and business needs. Act as a liaison between technical and business teams.
• Solution Development: Partner with other architects to develop solutions addressing stakeholder-identified issues.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend new technologies to support business initiatives.
• Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce IT standards to optimize architecture and design.
• Industry Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to enhance solution development.

Responsibilities

• Lead Flexton’s role in advising business and technology leaders on solution architectures that drive business value and IT simplification.
• Architect distinctive technology solutions tailored to client needs through deep expertise in Technology Strategy, Solution, and Enterprise Architecture.
• Prepare proposals and estimates for IT systems design and implementation.
• Collaborate with product heads, domain architects, and stakeholders to align IT strategies with business goals.
• Facilitate cohesive designs between technical and business teams.
• Work alongside other architects to address stakeholder challenges.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations.
• Establish and uphold IT standards and best practices.
