Statement: The Solutions and Development Director plays a pivotal role
in driving the growth of the Sustaining Services business by pursuing
and capturing new business opportunities. This position is critical in
expanding the Sustaining Services business and therefore is an enabler
for the most opportune growth engine for Plexus Enterprise business
portfolio, blending the strategic focus of a "hunter" with the
creative expertise of a "solutions creator." Key responsibilities
include identifying and closing new business opportunities, developing
comprehensive aftermarket solutions, and collaborating across functions
to ensure sustained revenue growth in service to all of the market
sectors that Plexus supports. Key Job Accountabilities: Target
Identification & Funnel Development: Prioritize target customers and
develop a robust sales funnel to meet and exceed revenue targets. Focus
on new business opportunities by engaging early in the sales cycle,
driving sales funnel growth, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Sales Process Leadership: Spearhead the sales process and ensure that
business solutions are effectively positioned to secure new business.
This includes designing and documenting complex enterprise-wide
solutions and gathering intelligence to influence future business
