**Job Summary:**
The Solutions Engineer will partner, collaborate and work with the sales team in presenting solutions to prospects and customers. They will provide technical and implementation consultation to members of sales team and potential customers during the sales process.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Provide technical and product consultation to the sales team during the sales process.
+ Conduct remote conference calls to provide prospective customers technical information and requirements and answer questions.
+ Respond to technical and implementation portions of prospective customer RFPs or technical and security assessment questionnaires.
+ Provide consultation to the prospective customer as it relates to Provation's:
+ required 3rd party hardware and software for the deployment of the Provation applications.
+ infrastructure, networking, and integration requirements.
+ software support and maintenance policies.
+ implementation requirements, process, timelines, and resource requirements.
+ Work with sales team to:
+ review quotes for accurate professional services, travel, interface applications, and 3rd party hardware and software.
+ customize professional services package for sales scenarios that fall outside of the standard service packages.
+ finalize all Provation provided items to be included in customer contracts.
+ provide technical and implementation consultation as it relates to the contract negotiation process.
+ Advocate for sales team and prospective customers in cross-functional department meetings and initiatives.
+ Document all technical and implementation related items discussed and outlined during the sales process.
+ Conduct onsite technical walk-thru and technical reviews, as needed.
+ Provide support for trade shows.
+ Other duties and projects as assigned.
**Job Requirements:**
_Education & Experience_
+ 4-year degree
+ 4+ years in the healthcare IT industry
+ Experience with Electronic Health Record solutions such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts
_Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:_
+ Ability to travel a minimum of 25% monthly
+ Strong MS Office application skills
+ Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Strong relationship-building skills both as part of a sales team and prospective clients
+ Ability to multi-task with sales team members and prospective client requests
+ Knowledge and understanding of technology that includes networking, application interface/integration, software, and hardware

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
