.What You'll Do
The Solutions Manager will focus on DEVELON articulated dump trucks (ADT) and extra-large frame construction equipment (e.g., 50-ton excavator and above) within the North American region. This role serves as a product expert while also being consultative in nature to address customer needs with large construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction equipment industry, a passion for solving customer problems, and the ability to understand and match end-user equipment needs based on their specific operations. This position will collaborate with other functions internally as well as with dealers and customers and must be willing to be on all types and sizes of job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales teams and dealers to identify and pursue opportunities from lead generation to deal closure. Provide demo support and technical assistance as needed during the sales process. Assist with the discovery process for customer requirements based on job site specifics. Assist with machine configuration to meet customer requirements.
- Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Dealer (VOD) Collection: Gather insights from customers (voice of customer) and dealers (voice of dealer) to understand their needs, pain points, and preferences. Utilize feedback to drive product improvements and enhancements. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes. Analyze market data and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and threats.
- Define and maintain a strategic product roadmap aligned with market demands and company objectives. Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals. Maintain price pages and product option offerings in alignment with pricing strategies and market dynamics while ensure pricing competitiveness and profitability.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive product training programs to dealer sales professionals. Ensure dealers have a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Work closely with the Marketing team to develop product collateral, sales materials, and messaging. Support marketing campaigns and product launches with relevant content and information.
- Monitor product performance, sales metrics, and market share. Identify areas for portfolio optimization and growth. Collaborate with Service, Warranty, and Engineering teams on product issue resolution and long term solutioning.

What You'll Need to be Successful
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in product management or related field within the heavy construction machinery industry with an OEM preferred. Experience with mining operations or similar and with customers with large machinery fleets preferred.
- Strong understanding of articulated dump trucks (ADT) and extra-large frame construction equipment required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Prior operator experience with heavy construction equipment.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
