CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

This position is 100% on-site and located in Manassas, Virginia
Required:
- 5-10 years experience as a Submarine Sonar Technician (ST) operating AN/BQQ-10
- Previous SONAR Supervisor Qualified or Auxiliary Operator
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication / Configuration Management:
- Communicate project/program issues to management, as necessary
- Participate in various technical and program meetings with internal and external customers to provide status on projects supported
- Use sound configuration management principles to ensure document configuration management is maintained
- Sustainability / Reliability:
- Develops Reliability Centered Maintenance documentation to include but not limited to: Functional Block Diagrams, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRC) and Maintenance Index Pages (MIP)
- Develops reliability predictions for the purpose of calculating Operational Availability (Ao), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), and failure rates
- Develops maintainability predictions for the purpose of calculating Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)
- Develops new engineering documentation
- Develop operations and maintenance procedures for incorporation into technical manuals using engineering source documents
- Develops technical manuals inputs to support O-Level operations and maintenance
- Develops wiring list using cable schematics, from to lists, and other engineering documentation
- Develops troubleshooting procedures to recover from failure modes
- Training:
- Develop operations and maintenance training using MS Office products to support operations and maintenance training
- Employs Instructional Design practices to design curriculum to support operations and maintenance training
- Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Job entails some travel to support Navy customers, which may be performed onboard naval vessels in port and at sea
What you bring to the table:
- Must have strong organizational and analytical skills as well as practical problem-solving and decision making-skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and be able to manage multiple projects and issues simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Experience with HTML/SGML/XML/S1000D
- Experience dealing with computer systems and networks
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
