About the Job
Adecco Healthcare is searching for a Sonographer (Maternal/Fetal/OB) to become part of our client's team in Tampa, FL - 33613. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.
Pay
$37-46 per hour (depending on experience)
Shift
- Monday-Friday
- 8am-5pm
- No on-call
- No weekends
- May need to travel 1 day out of the week to another OB location
Job Summary
The Sonographer plays a crucial role in a multidisciplinary team, utilizing advanced diagnostic ultrasound skills and medical knowledge to evaluate maternal and fetal conditions during pregnancy. This position requires compassionate patient care, proficiency in electronic medical records and sonography reporting systems, and the ability to perform timely and accurate studies. The sonographer must possess a strong understanding of biotechnological and biomedical sciences, applying this knowledge to optimize ultrasound settings, differentiate between normal and abnormal fetal anatomic development, and effectively contribute to the diagnosis and management of various prenatal conditions.
Requirements
Required:
- Graduate from Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Certifications Required: ARDMS (RDMS OB/GYN) or ARRT OB/GYN,
- 3 years experience in Maternal/Fetal/OB.
- Experience scanning high-risk patients experience.
- BLS
Preferred:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), and Fetal Echocardiography (FE). Client will assist the candidate in obtaining this credential and also paying for it if they do not hold these credentials.
