Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, Ultrasound Supervisor and the Radiologist, is responsible for performance of all Ultrasound studies done in the department.

Qualifications:

• Current ARDMS Certified, RVT preferred
  
• Basic Cardiac Life Support 
• Must be RDMS certified in ABD and OB/GYN. Must be certified in both areas within 6 months of hire. If new graduates, must be RDMS in ABD, OB/GYN within 6 months of hire. Must have appropriate knowledge of growth and development in order to provide care for the patient population within the scope of service for that department/unit.
  
• Graduate of AMA approved school or Department Director discretion
  

Regional Medical Center of San Jose is a 264 bed acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center. The hospital provides a host of technologically advanced services including Cardiovascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Bariatric and General Surgery, Interventional Pulmonology and services for Women.
