About the Job
A New Jersey-based pharmaceutical organization is currently seeking a new Sourcing Analyst II for a promising opportunity with their growing staff. In this role, the Sourcing Analyst II will be responsible for supporting the procurement and strategic sourcing activities of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze sourcing and procurement data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and supplier performance issues
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, market trends, and pricing benchmarks
- Support supplier selection, performance evaluations, and relationship management
- Assist in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies that align with business objectives
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiations, alternative sourcing options, and process improvements
- Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers, including terms, pricing, and service levels
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain roles
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Power BI)
- Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier negotiations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in sourcing tools and technologies
Desired Skills:
- Experience with strategic sourcing or category management
- Knowledge of supply chain sustainability practices
- Familiarity with ERP systems - Oracle
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS)
