SOUS CHEF
The Corsica Wine Bar culture is inspired by the namesake island and surrounding European coastal villages and islands of the Mediterranean Sea. We are intensely passionate about our craft, our team and our guests' experiences.

The Sous Chef will work alongside their Executive Chef & James Beard Award Winning Culinary Director Patrick Connolly in curating a small plates menu. Bridging rustic simplicity with thoughtful creativity, Corsica's cooking style respects tradition and elevates the simplest ingredients.
The Sous Chef will be a leader within the BOH - mentoring and motivating the line and prep cooks as well as maintaining consistency and precision throughout the kitchen.
Sous Chef Duties/Responsibilities:
- Acts as the Executive Chef in their absence
- Holds the standard of high-quality food above all else
- Handles volume with confidence and finesse
Sous Chef Qualifications/ Skills:
- Must understand the basis of food, labor, and cost controls
- Dedicated to providing guests with amazing experiences with the highest degree of integrity
- Desire to run a teaching kitchen - constantly challenging themselves and their team to be better
- Solid tenure in a high volume kitchen
- Ability to uphold standards and systems
- At least 4 years of experience in a management level position within a restaurant. Ideally, a high volume kitchen.
