Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize meals according to needs of the restaurant.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to determine menu items that can be prepared in a timely manner.
- Create meal plans for different customers using the knowledge you have about the ingredients in your pantry and the pieces of equipment available.
- Conform to standard kitchen safety protocols.
- Understand sanitation procedures.
- Have knowledge of different types of food and how they are prepared.
- Monitor the quality of food being prepared.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff on successful dining experiences for customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
