Sous Chef - Think Hospitality

About the Job
We are searching for a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef's to join our team, with the opportunity to revamp the menu!
Essential Duties:
- Preparing meals and food to meet the specifications of guests in a timely manner
- Properly measuring kitchen ingredients and food portions
- Ensuring kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, department rules and sanitation requirements
- Using kitchen knives and equipment such as grills, ovens, steamers and warmers in food preparation
- Managing the kitchen inventory and ensuring supplies are fresh and of high quality
- Be familiar with practices such as inventory, recipe development and standardization, and standard food handling Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensuring proper food temperatures when cooking and proper storage afterward
- Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized and sanitized
- Taking charge of kitchen opening, closing and other side duties as directed by the Executive Chef
Job Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Currently have a Food Handling or ServSafe Certification or be willing to obtain one within 90 days of hiring.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to carry 20 lbs.
- Fluency in job-related English & Spanish is preferred (both verbal and non-verbal)
- Commitment to superior customer service and excellent customer service skills.
- Flexibility and creative problem-solving ability.
- Strong initiative and self-motivation.
- Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
