Overview:

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP and a passion for developing innovative, scalable web applications. This role requires someone who can contribute to both front-end and back-end development, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality PHP-based applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Work with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences.
• Debug and resolve software defects, conducting thorough testing and troubleshooting.
• Optimize application performance, including code, database queries, and server performance.
• Implement and maintain data storage solutions, with a focus on secure and efficient handling of data.
• Document technical specifications, architecture, and process flows.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in PHP and web development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a PHP Developer.
• Proficiency in PHP and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.).
• Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), including database design and query optimization.
• Knowledge of version control tools, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
• Solid understanding of web security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Familiarity with containerization and deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
