Job Summary
Spa Mirbeau is looking to add to our management team. The perfect Mirbeau team member will be personable and enthusiastic about helping our guests find the necessary balance and healing. We are looking for a manager with experience in a Spa environment; but an outgoing, friendly and guest-oriented personality are just as important. All applicants should have great communication skills, a willingness to learn.
Pay rate: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour - based on experience
Job Requirements
Position requires strong communication skills, excellent guest service skills, and extensive knowledge in computer use and applications. An experienced and enthusiastic Spa Manager to assist in day-to-day operations.
- Oversee the Spa operation in the evenings
- Assist in Scheduling for Spa Desk/Retail and Spa Attendants.
- Assist in Spa Desk operations
- Assist in managing call out and time off request for Spa Desk and Spa Attendants.
- Assist in overseeing Spa Attendants, Spa Desk and Concierge to ensure that they are performing their jobs efficiently and correctly.
- Responsible for assisting Spa Director in the hiring of new Spa Desk and Spa Attendants
- Manage and assist with all spa staff trainings and monthly meetings
- Assist that adequate coverage is provided based on treatments booked and predicting treatment pickup.
- Assist all staff with questions on products and procedures.
- Stay current on the latest thinking pertinent to the department and become well-versed and trained in its application.
- Oversee front and back of house inventory including guest amenities, operational supplies, and all professional treatment products.
- Manage the organization of all Group Sales and events.
- Work cooperatively and professionally with all departments.
- Attend regular meetings as directed by Spa Director and Spa Manager.
Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements
Requires key attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as ability to wear many hats, multi-task and pivot duties at any time. This position also requires strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent guest service skills. 2years' experience in a spa/hotel. Problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
