Overview:Our team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is looking for a warm and welcoming Spa & Wellness Coordinator with a passion for providing exceptional service to join our Spa team in creating a personalized and relaxing experience for guests at our spa facility, Saltgrass. In this role, you will be tasked with being the welcoming face of our spa and fostering positive client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing friendly, personalized service to our clients and guests.
Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome guests, providing personalized attention and addressing any questions or concerns
- Schedule and confirm spa appointments, ensuring efficient time management
- Assist guests with spa service selections, offering recommendations tailored to their needs
- Maintain working knowledge of the Bardo and Saltgrass brands and resort programming to encourage spa guests to book experiences
- Check guests in and out, ensuring a seamless experience and handling payments efficiently
- Coordinate with the spa team to ensure treatments are executed flawlessly
- Handle guest feedback and concerns promptly and effectively
- Uphold a warm and welcoming atmosphere, fostering a sense of tranquility and relaxation for all guests
- Maintain a clean environment throughout the spa, keeping public areas, waiting rooms, and dressing areas
- Maintain a working knowledge of services, products, and promotions
- Assist with maintaining dressing areas, treatment rooms and supply areas as a support role to the rest of the spa team
- Restock treatment rooms with fresh linens, professional products and any other equipment needed for the next session
- Collaborate with departments for proper linen processing, laundering and restocking.
- Prepare and serve light refreshments
- Maintain client records and manage appointment schedules with an organized touch
- Assist guests in use of equipment such as steam showers, infrared sauna blankets and PEMF mats
- Assist with spa tours and provide information about services and products
- Maintain retail merchandising and visual aesthetic with guidance from spa leaders
- Stay up to date on the latest spa treatments, products, and promotions to expertly guide guests
- Be a liaison between the Guests, Therapists and Director of Operations
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking and managing appointments efficiently
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling and administrative tasks
- Excellent presentation and grooming standards
- A passion for wellness and a genuine interest in helping guests achieve relaxation and rejuvenation
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a composed demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Be a team player, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
