Direct hire opportunity for a Spare Parts Manager with an industry leading Centrifugal Pump Manufacturer in their Greater Houston Hobby area. This position will work with all company's OEM facilities to increase sales of spare parts, ensure profit margins on them and meet commitments to the customer. Position will be the bridge between the sales groups, customers, manufacturing facilities, and quoting software.
Spare Parts Manager will maintain the accuracy of the pricing structures in company's quoting software and ensure to quote full sets of spares on all quotes. Maintain company's installation list and build out a spare parts database to make it easier for Account Executives to quote spares for historical product.
Position will be based out of the Houston Hobby area facility and will require periodic travel to company's other manufacturing facilities and to assist sales with opportunities.
Responsibilities of the Spares Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Point of contact for all spare parts quotes for API product
- Point of contact for updates on all spare parts orders
- Ensure orders are entered correctly in company's ERP system (P21)
- Ensure on time and financial performance of spare parts jobs
- Maintain installation list
- Keep pricing up to date in ePod
- Grow ANSI spare parts business and help develop strategies to increase business
- Grow API spare parts business and help develop strategies to increase business
- Specifically target high volume installation clusters with specific customers
- Work in conjunction with regional sales representatives to proactively pursue spare parts orders
- Ensure all quotes have full spares on them
- Build a spares parts database
- For stand alone spare orders
o Handle execution, purchasing requests, and issue of correct drawings
o Biggest factor is issuing casting routers within 48 hours of getting an order - Manage backlog schedule and coordinate meetings to get updates
- Previous experience in OEM manufacturing project management, spare parts, and business development in oil and gas industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Should be ambitious and able to work independently
- Must have experience performing a majority of the functions listed above
- Highly proficient in editing, maintaining, and creating Excel spreadsheets
- Data entry skills, organization, multi-tasking and customer focus is required - previous experience with manufacturing ERP software is a preferred
- Needs to have at least 4+ years’ experience in spare parts management, inside sales and/or account management with oil & gas/rotating equipment

Physical Demand: Sitting, standing, walking, occasional climbing, lifting up to 25-40 lbs.
Working Conditions: Office, shop environment, and outdoors.
Shift Time/Overtime: Monday – Friday 8-5 (Hours may vary)
