The Special Projects Manager will be responsible for high-level administrative support by coordinating special initiatives, activities, and projects that lead to the overall effectiveness of the Foundation. Handles information requests and performs functions such as preparing correspondence and materials for organization functions and meetings specifically, but not limited to, board meetings. Enhances the VP of HTHF's effectiveness by providing information management support and representing the VP of HTHF to others when requested. This position reports to the VP of HTHF.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Coordination: Manage and oversee special projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all deadlines are met, and objectives are achieved. This includes planning, directing, and coordinating with various departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Administrative Support: Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance by managing various correspondence, overseeing the VP of HTHF's calendar and scheduling, preparing materials for board meetings, and handling information requests.
- Communication and Representation: Represent the VP of HTHF in various capacities when needed.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to gather relevant data, identify trends, and provide insights that support informed decision-making and strategic planning across various projects and initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a liaison between senior executives and other departments, ensuring that all project-related communications are clear, accurate, and timely.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to team efforts by taking on additional responsibilities as required, supporting organizational events, and participating in activities that foster team development.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with Executives or Senior Leadership.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint to perform daily job tasks.
- Ability to solve problems creatively.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
- Ability to prioritize workload, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, independence, and good judgment.
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team to support team, department, and enterprise goals.

- Other duties as may be needed or required at the request of VP of the HTHF or other supervisors.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- 2-3 years in project coordination/management or an administrative assistant role
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Operate computer and office equipment.
- Work is primarily sedentary in nature.
