Our Client is seeking motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant's/Special Education Paraprofessionals in Washington, DC
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* The Teaching Assistant serves as an integral part of the teaching team.
* The Teacher's Assistant uses his/her knowledge of the development of children.
* The ways in which young children learn and scientifically based practice.
* Supports social, emotional and cognitive development of children.
* Teaching Assistants plan for and provide instruction to students enrolled in Before Care and/or Extended Day Programing.
* Performs related work as required.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Must have a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or an Associate's degree (or higher) in any subject.
* Demonstrates Knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics.
* Proficient in the use of online technology such as (but not limited to): Google, G Suite, Canvas, Zoom
* Working hours will vary as Teaching Assistants 'duties may include Before Care (7:30-8:15am) or Extended Day (3:15-6:00pm)
*You must be fully vaccinated against COVID.
