Special Education Teacher - School House Staffing

We seek a Special Education Teacher with a valid LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) certification to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will work with elementary students across various needs, including Autism, Emotional Disturbance, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). The ideal candidate will provide individualized instructional support in a cross-categorical setting, helping students achieve academic and emotional success.

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' learning goals.
• Provide specialized instruction and interventions for students with Autism and emotional challenges.
• Utilize SEL techniques to support social-emotional growth within the classroom.
• Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement.
• Collaborate with parents, administrators, and other educational staff to align strategies and monitor student progress.
• Regularly assess and adjust teaching strategies based on student data and outcomes.

• LBS1 Certification (Required)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in cross-categorical instructional settings.
