Position Details:

• Title: Special Education Teacher
• Location: San Jose, CA
• Duration: SY 24-25
• Onsite/Virtual: Onsite
• Position Type: Contract
• Working Hours: 30-32 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday
• Student Age Group: Elementary
• Case Load: Moderate-severe 2nd/3rd/4th graders

Responsibilities:

• Teach Special Education/SDC for 1st-2nd Grade or 2nd-3rd Grade students with Moderate-Severe disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and other professionals to support student success.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Valid CA Educational Specialist credential.
• EL authorization.
• Autism authorization.
• Moderate-Severe authorizations.
